debbienelson1 debbienelson2 debbienelson3Debbie Nelson came to D4D looking for a special item for her son Wyatt: a special needs stroller. It needed to be narrow to fit through the doorways in her home. We didn’t find a stroller for a juvenile, but we did suggest a transport chair–a wheelchair that is small and simple to push around. Debbie and Wyatt came to the medical equipment lending closet we supply at St. Philip Neri Church, 2132 E. 72nd St., Chicago recently and picked up the chair. Here are some photos of the event. Debbie had this to say to us and to Meisha Robinson, the manager of the lending closet:

“Meisha, such a joy to know you! Greg and Meisha, thank you for Wyatt’s new chair. We used it right away yesterday at a neighborhood festival where much to our surprise Wyatt was greeted by the Lord’s flock of Lutheran Comfort Dogs that were in attendance!! And today i started a special needs Sunday school with comfort dogs. Blessings…Debbie”
